Nourhan Began her scientific training at Cairo University, earning a B.S. in Biotechnology and Biomolecular Chemistry, followed by two years in pharmaceutical industry in drug research and development. As a Fulbright alumna, she transitioned to academic research through an M.S. in NK cell tumor immunology, where she investigated NK-cell responses and immune receptor dysregulation in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Therapeutics and Pharmacology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where her research integrates radiation therapy, CAR-T cell immunotherapy, and immunoPET imaging to enhance CAR-T trafficking, tumor infiltration, and therapeutic response in aggressive B-cell lymphoma.
