As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Golden has devoted his career to translate novel preclinical information to the clinic. Over the years he has integrated an understanding of cancer immunity in the clinical management of patients diagnosed with lung, breast, genitourinary, brain, and gastrointestinal malignancies. Specifically, he has studied the interaction of radiotherapy and the development of anti-tumor immunity. He has investigated the local and systemic effects of radiotherapy and helped to develop strategies directed at harnessing anti-tumor immunity in patients with locally advanced and metastatic disease. He is currently the Associate Medical Director of Clinical Trials in the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center and the Medical Director of Clinical Research in the Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Radiation Oncology.
