Amanda Gustafsson

Amanda Gustafsson is a PhD student at the Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology at Uppsala University, under the supervision of Professor Marika Nestor. She holds a BSc in Molecular Biology (2022) and MSc in Biopharmaceuticals (2024) from Uppsala University. Since 2024, her research has focused on the preclinical development of targeted radionuclide therapy using the novel anti-CD44v6 antibody AKIR001. Her work has primarily focused on pancreatic cancer, with ongoing efforts to expand into other gastrointestinal cancers, using both in vitro and in vivo models. She has a particular interest in the immune system and immunology, which she is increasingly exploring in relation to targeted radionuclide therapy.
