Dr. Aisha Hasan is an oncologist and drug developer whose career bridges laboratory science, clinical practice, and global therapeutic development. At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines, she leads several Phase 1 clinical trials within the early development clinical group in Interventional Oncology R&D, setting strategy for and overseeing trial execution. Previously, she led clinical development for cell and gene therapy at GlaxoSmithKline — advancing NY-ESO-1 TCR T-cells from proof-of-concept to pivotal trials in multiple myeloma and solid tumors.
Dr. Hasan trained in pediatric hematology/oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine, where she was an attending physician in bone marrow transplantation for over a decade and remained a consultant attending in recent years. Her research on T-cell biology and adoptive immunotherapy has produced multiple issued patents and publications in Blood Advances, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Nature Communications. She is an active member of ASTCT, ASH, ASCO, AACR, and the SITC Committee on Cellular Therapy.
